Periclis Frementitis is an electrical engineer who quit being so and followed his inner calling, reinvented himself as a designer working in a diverse range of contemporary art and design disciplines.
In 2016, he founded his own design workshop in Greece, HIGHDOTS, and began exploring the field of contemporary design.
Using timeless materials and mediums, Periclis’ approach on design and art is intuitive and his work is characterized by idiosyncratic balances, fusing primitiveness and timelessness.
Inspired by the ideal of ”Kallos” and the raw beauty, he creates lighting sculptures and fine objects that occupy the space with their meaningful subtlety.
Every single piece of his work is handcrafted and assembled by traditional artisans and Periclis himself, with respect for the chosen materials.
His work has been featured on ELLE Decoration, as well as, he has been collaborating with architects and interior designers worldwide.
“The idiosyncratic balances is the predominant element in the collections of Periclis Frementitis.
Inspired by the ancient Greek thinking and philosophy, the ideal of ”Kallos” and the raw beauty,
he creates lighting and fine objects that occupy the space with their meaningful subtlety.
Seeking an equilibrium substance among changing compositions,
the designer embodies intuitively antithetical elements in his work – in terms of materials and forms –
balancing between geometric abstraction and minimalism.”
